There is a fast, accurate, scientific way to measure your metabolism at rest and during exercise to see how efficiently it is burning calories, sugar and fat. It is called Metabolic Testing, Metabolic Testing is a measure of oxygen and carbon dioxide. We will measure this respiration exchange along with your heart rate to determine how many calories you should be eating a day, as well as where your heart rate should be during cardio exercise. This test can be performed at any fitness level. The test is quick (15 minutes each) and easy to perform. You will receive a report and consultation at the end of each test.

Resting Metabolic Test (RMR)

This test will tell you how many calories your body consumes at rest. This number is important to make sure you are getting the proper amount of calories a day and not pushing yourself into "starvation mode" which will slow down your metabolism and make you store more body fat.

Metabolic Assessment Profile Test (MAP)

This test will tell you how efficiently you burn calories during exercise and what percentage of those calories are coming from your fat and sugar storage. It will give you the heart rate zones you need to be training in so you are working efficiently during exercise. A cardio program is given based on results. Heart rate training is key to improving fat utilization, cardiovascular health and performance. You can train your body to burn more FAT!
